Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric compressor capable of improving assembling workability of an inverter including a switching element. An electric compressor (1) is provided with an inverter (3) that has a switching element (5) and feeds power to an electric motor (2). The electric compressor (1) is provided with a stator housing (7) in which the electric motor (2) is included, an inverter case (8) that is attached to an end wall (7A) of the stator housing (7) and accommodates a circuit substrate (51) of the inverter (3), and an elastic body (71) that is attached to the inverter case (8). The switching element (5) is disposed in the end wall (7A) of the stator housing (7). The elastic body (71) presses the switching element (5) against the end wall (7A) of the stator housing (7) in a state where the inverter case (8) is attached to the stator housing (7).
