Abstract:
This electric compressor includes a housing (19), an electric motor (11), a refrigerant compression unit (12), an electric control unit (26), a refrigerant flow path (25), and a cooling water flow path (2). The electric motor (11) is driven to rotate by energizing a winding (32). The refrigerant compression unit (12) is driven by the electric motor (11) to suck in, compress, and discharge refrigerant. The electric control unit (26) includes an electronic component (27) that generates heat when energized, and controls energization to the winding (32) of the motor (11). The refrigerant flow path (25) provided inside the housing (19) is provided so as to enable heat exchange between the low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant before being sucked into the refrigerant compression unit (12), the winding (32) and the electronic component (27). The cooling water flow path (20) provided inside the housing (19) is provided so as to enable heat exchange between the cooling water flowing through the cooling water flow path (20), the winding (32), and the electronic component (27).
