Abstract:
An electric compressor according to the present invention comprises: a drive motor having a stator and a rotor; a rotary shaft coupled to the rotor to transmit the rotational force of the drive motor; a frame through which the rotary shaft is rotatably coupled; a pivoting scroll axially supported by the frame and eccentrically coupled to the rotary shaft so as to pivot; a fixed scroll which is provided on the opposite side of the frame with the pivoting scroll interposed therebetween to form a compression chamber together with the pivoting scroll and supports one end of the rotary shaft radially through the frame and the pivoting scroll; and a casing which is provided at an opposite side of the frame with the drive motor interposed therebetween to radially support the other end of the rotary shaft.
