Abstract:
An electric connection tool comprises: a first unit which includes an electrode rod for connecting a load; a second unit which has a first side connected to a power source and has a second side separably coupled to the first unit and electrically connected thereto; an electrode rod insertion hole which is formed at the second side of the second unit and into which the electrode rod is inserted at the time of coupling to the first unit; an electrode terminal which is installed in the second unit and is electrically connected to the electrode rod; a shielding plate which is position-switchable between a canceling position for opening an insertion path between the electrode rod insertion hole and the electrode terminal and a blocking position for blocking the insertion path; a canceling means which switches a position of the blocking plate to the canceling position at the time of coupling of the first unit and the second unit; and an elastic member which maintains the blocking position of the blocking plate in a state where the first unit and the second unit are separated from each other, and provides restoration power for restoring the blocking plate to the blocking position when the blocking plate switches to the canceling position.
