Abstract:
In this electric connector 1, a coupling part 70 has: a first resin 62 that holds a lower contact 44 relative to an intermediate ground plate 52; and a second resin 64 that holds an upper contact 42 relative to the intermediate ground plate 52 and that is a separate body from the first resin 62. Moreover, the coupling member 70 is further provided with a third resin 66 that covers the first resin 62 and the second resin 64 and that is a separate body from the first resin 62 and the second resin 64. When manufacturing the electric connector 1, deflection can be suppressed by dividing the steps into a step for molding the first resin 62 and a step for molding the second resin 64 and using a mold for suppressing deflection of the upper contact 42 and the lower contact 44.
