An electric current detection device according to the present invention comprises: a housing that holds a bus bar through which a measured electric current flows, and a fastening member for fastening an external member to the bus bar in a state in which the bus bar and the fastening member are in contact with each other; and a magnetic sensor that is disposed facing the bus bar and that is capable of detecting a magnetic field generated by the measured electric current flowing through the bus bar. The bus bar comprises, on an edge side thereof, a fastening terminal part that contacts the external member. A connection surface, which is the surface where the fastening terminal part contacts the external member, is provided exposed from the housing. The fastening terminal part comprises an anchor part that has a surface differing from the connection surface and that is embedded in the housing, and thus the electric current detection device comprises a housing that is integrated with the bus bar and a shield, and it is difficult for measurement accuracy to deteriorate.
