Abstract:
Provided is an electric current sensor with which a more compact physical size can be achieved. This electric current sensor 10 has a plate-shaped conductor 11, a magnetic detection element 12 for detecting electric current flowing to the conductor 11, a circuit substrate 13 onto which the magnetic detection element 12 is mounted, and a magnetic shield 14 enclosing the magnetic detection element 12 and the circuit substrate 13 between a pair of surfaces arranged at both the front and back sides of the conductor 11. The circuit substrate 13 is arranged longitudinally, facing a widthwise end surface of the conductor 11.
