Abstract:
This electric discharge machining power supply device is provided with: an electrode for flowing a current between a subject to be machined and the electrode; a first power supply unit that applies a voltage to a first path connected to an interelectrode section configured from the subject to be machined and the electrode; a transformer disposed on a second path connected to the interelectrode section; and a second power supply unit that applies a voltage to the second path via the transformer, said voltage being in the direction in which a current flowing from the first power supply unit to the floating capacitance of the second path is suppressed.
