Abstract:
An electric dust collection device (100) is provided with: a first electrode (10) including a plurality of first electrode elements (11), a plurality of second electrode elements (12), and one or more third electrode elements (13); a second electrode (20) that is disposed so as to be opposed to the first electrode (10); a voltage supply circuit (4) that supplies voltage to the first electrode (10) and the second electrode (20); and a control unit (5) that controls the voltage supply circuit (4). The plurality of second electrode elements (12) are disposed so as to be respectively opposed to the plurality of first electrode elements (11). The one or more third electrode elements (13) are each disposed between two adjacent first electrode elements (11) among the plurality of first electrode elements (11) so as to be separated from the plurality of first electrode elements (11) and the plurality of second electrode elements (12). The control unit (5) has a dust collecting mode of capturing charged particles (90p) by using the first electrode (10), and a cleaning mode of releasing, from the first electrode (10), the particles (90) having been captured by the first electrode (10).
