Abstract:
An electric hair dryer, comprising a housing (100), a handle (200), a fan (300), and a heating element (400), wherein an air inlet (130) is provided at one end of the housing (100), and an air outlet (140) is provided at the other end of the housing (100); the handle (200) is disposed at the bottom of the housing (100); the fan (300) is disposed inside the housing (100) and is close to the air inlet (130); and the heating element (400) is disposed between the fan (300) and the air outlet (140), and the heating element (400) comprises an insulating carrier and a heating conductor, the heating conductor being printed inside the insulating carrier. The heating conductor does not need to be exposed to air like a traditional resistance heating wire, but is arranged inside the insulating carrier, such that, unlike the resistance heating wire, the heating conductor can avoid conditions such as oxidative fracture and the falling of carbide dust; moreover, since the heating conductor is arranged inside the insulating carrier, there is no need to use a mica or asbestos holder as an insulator, such that no substances harmful to the human body are generated. In addition, the heating conductor does not become red-hot or emit light, and therefore has a high electric heating conversion rate and good safety.
