Abstract:
An electric hybrid energy storage apparatus is disclosed. The electric hybrid energy storage apparatus comprises a series string in which at least one capacitor and at least one secondary battery having a capacity higher than that of the capacitor are connected in series. The electric hybrid energy storage apparatus complements advantages and makes up for disadvantages of the secondary battery and the capacitor so as to improve performance, lifespan, and reliability, reduce price and development investment costs, shorten the development period, and provide design flexibility enabling a customized design according to use.
