Abstract:
This invention addresses the problem of providing an electric lock that can be unlocked more quickly than a conventional electric lock, and an electric lock system. With this electric lock, the configuration is such that a rotating member (122) moves from a locked position to an unlocked position when a second gear moves from a first position to a second position. In addition, with the electric lock, the configuration is such that a rotating force (M1) in the direction to retain the rotating member (122) in the locked position while the rotating member (122) is in the locked position is applied to the rotating member (122) and the direction of the rotating force (M1) is reversed while the rotating member (122) is transitioning from the locked position to the unlocked position. The reversing position at which the direction of the rotating force (M1) is reversed is closer to the locked position than a central position between the locked position and the unlocked position.
