Abstract:
This electric motor is provided with: a stator having a coil; a rotor rotatably provided on the inner peripheral side of the stator and rotating about a rotating axis; a control board on which drive elements are mounted and which controls energization of the coil using the drive elements; and a resin portion sealing the outer peripheral side of the stator and the control board. The control board is disposed facing the stator in the rotating axis direction. The resin portion is provided with a first resin portion and a second resin portion having a thermal conductivity higher than that of the first resin portion. When the surface of the control board on the side facing the stator is defined as a first surface and the surface of the control board opposite to the first surface is defined as a second surface, the second resin portion covers at least a part of the second surface of the control board.
