Provided are an electric motor (601), a charging apparatus (600), a power assembly (1200) and a vehicle (1300), so as to realize the charging and discharging of a power battery (1301) by means of a system, improve device utilization, and save the space of the entire vehicle. The charging apparatus (600) comprises an electric motor (601) and an electric motor controller (602). The electric motor (601) comprises a rotor, a stator, a primary coil and a secondary coil. The stator comprises a stator core, the primary coil is wound around a yoke of the stator core, the primary coil is coupled to an external power source, and the secondary coil is wound around the yoke of the stator core. Winding positions of the secondary coil and the primary coil bypass different slot structures on an inner side of the stator core. The primary coil and the secondary coil implement coupling and voltage transformation by means of the stator core to boost or reduce an output voltage of the external power source. The electric motor controller (602) is coupled to the secondary coil and a power battery (1301), and is used to perform alternating current-direct current conversion on output power of the secondary coil to obtain a direct current, wherein the direct current is used to charge the power battery (1301).
