Abstract:
An electric motor (1) has a rotor (2) and a stator (3). The rotor (2) has first rotor cores (21), a second rotor core (22), and a permanent magnet (23). The stator (3) has first stator cores (31), a second stator core (32), a slot (35), and a recess part (36). The recess part (36) opposes the slot (35) and is not in contact with a stator winding (37). The permanent magnet (23) has first portions (231) and a second portion (232). The residual magnetic flux density of each of the first portions (231) is lower than the residual magnetic flux density of the second portion (232).
