Abstract:
This electric motor is disposed within a compressor and used together with a refrigerant including a substance having a property of causing a disproportionation reaction. The electric motor comprises: an annular rotor core about the axis; a rotor having a permanent magnet attached to the rotor core; a stator core that surrounds the rotor core from the outside in the radial direction centered on the axis; and a stator having a coil wound around the stator core. The permanent magnet is formed of a ferrite magnet.
