Abstract:
An electric motor controller and an outer rotor electric motor using same. The electric motor controller comprises a controller housing, a power supply circuit board and a control circuit board. The controller housing comprises a first mounting platform, a second mounting platform and a side wall, wherein the first mounting platform is located at the top of the side wall, and the second mounting platform is located in the middle of the side wall; the first mounting platform and the side wall enclose an upper cavity, the control circuit board and the power supply circuit board are mounted inside the upper cavity from top to bottom, and the second mounting platform and the side wall enclose a lower cavity; and a rectifier bridge module extends out of the power supply circuit board, and the rectifier bridge module is attached to the second mounting platform to dissipate heat. A control box has a simple structure; and control boards, mounting cavities and mounting platforms having a uniform specification and size can be used for electric motors having different sizes, powers and volumes, such that the standardization and generalization of parts is achieved, the design and the production efficiency are improved, while the cost is reduced and management is simplified, and it is ensured that the heat dissipation effect of a high-power device is good, thereby meeting heat dissipation requirements of a high-power electric motor.
