Title:
ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH SCREW-SHAPED STATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1982/001286
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An electric motor comprises a stator with a screw-shaped magnetic circuit (1) in the slots (2) of which is placed an armature winding (3), and a rotor (6) located in the boring of the stator. The rotor is provided with protrusions (7) intended to form the basic magnetic field and placed around it along a heloicoidal line, the length of the protrusions (7) being equal to (Alpha)(Alpha)(Alpha)(Alpha) and the distance between them being equal to (2-(Alpha)(Alpha))(Alpha), where (Alpha) (Alpha) is a coefficient of the calculated pole arc and (Alpha) is the pole pitch of the motor. The magnetic circuit is provided with an additional slot (4) in which is placed an exciting winding (5), so that those sections of each turn of the magnetic circuit on which are placed the armature (3) and exciting (5) windings are of such a length which ensures the coaxiality of the slots (2) for placing the armature winding (3) in all the turns of the magnetic circuit.
