Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric power control method and a voltage conversion device thereof in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control related to an optimizer that can be connected to most commercially available PCS. [Solution] With a voltage value of a maximum power point MPPT in which an optimal operating point at which electric power of a solar panel is at maximum becomes the apex of a voltage-electric power curve 1 as a standard, an operating voltage of a power conditioner is induced so as to be within the flat region of a plateau shape 2, said plateau shape retaining a constant electric power value and being of a shape that has a step in which straight lines that go down from both the low-voltage side and the high-voltage side of the voltage-electric power curve abut the inclined planes of the voltage-electric power curve 1, and after induction, the operating voltage of the power conditioner is retained in a constant fixed range and output to the outside.
