Abstract:
Provided is an electric power conversion device comprising a plurality of switching elements connected in parallel, the electric power conversion device suppressing a temperature imbalance caused by delay time variations and a temperature imbalance caused by on-voltage variations. The electric power conversion device comprising a plurality of switching elements is characterized by further comprising: a temperature sensor that detects the temperature of the plurality of switching elements; a carrier frequency adjustment unit that adjusts a carrier frequency of the plurality of switching elements; a delay time adjustment unit that adjusts a turn-on time or a turn-off time of the plurality of switching elements; and a gate voltage adjustment unit that adjusts an on-voltage of the plurality of switching elements. The electric power conversion device is also characterized in that: the temperature sensor detects an amount of change in a temperature difference of the plurality of switching elements before and after a carrier frequency adjustment performed by the carrier frequency adjustment unit; and the delay time adjustment unit adjusts the turn-on time or the turn-off time of the plurality of switching elements on the basis of the detected amount of change in the temperature difference.
