Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric power steering device which, when a driver handles a steering wheel during automatic steering control, enables smooth switching of steering when the steering direction of the automatic control and the direction in which the steering wheel is handled are different.
[Solution] An electric power steering device is provided with: a target steering angle correction unit which outputs a target steering angle correction value with respect to steering torque; a correction output unit which corrects a target steering angle by the target steering angle correction value and outputs a corrected target steering angle; a steering angle control unit which calculates a motor current command value (2) on the basis of the corrected target steering angle from the correction output unit, an actual steering angle, and a motor angular velocity; and a switching unit which accepts input of motor current command values (1, 2) and performs switching therebetween, the switching unit is switched in response to a command for switching between automatic steering control and manual steering control, and a motor is controlled to be driven on the basis of the motor current command value (2) during the automatic steering control.
