Abstract:
An electric power steering device comprising: an electric motor driven by power from a power supply and applying auxiliary power to a steering shaft; a booster circuit connected to the power supply and supplying boost voltage to the electric motor; and a control device managing at least either boost continuation time being the continuous operation time of the booster circuit or boost prohibited time being the continuous stop time for the booster circuit, on the basis of the boost power value during operation of the booster circuit.
