Abstract:
In order to provide an electric tool which is capable of interrupting a power feed from a battery pack to a motor, this electric tool includes: a motor (4); a terminal unit on which it is possible to mount a first battery pack (20) which includes a first battery cell and which outputs an abnormality signal if the first battery cell enters an abnormal state; and a control means (5) which interrupts the power feed to the motor in accordance with the abnormality signal output from the first battery pack mounted on the terminal unit. The control means (5) is capable of interrupting the power feed to the motor (4) irrespective of the presence or absence of the abnormality signal.
