An electric tool. In the electric tool, when an operation portion is operated in a first mode, a controller selects one of at least two main working modes as the current main working mode. At this time, a main light-emitting portion is lit up, so as to indicate that the current main working mode is selected. When the operation portion is operated in a second mode, the controller selects, in the current main working mode, one of at least two subdivision working modes as the current subdivision working mode. At this time, the main light-emitting portion remains in a lit-up state, and a sub-light-emitting portion is lit up, so as to indicate that the current subdivision working mode is selected. In this way, multi-mode regulation and control of the electric tool are more intelligent, and the mode regulation and control are facilitated. In addition, the control and indication of different types of main working modes and subdivision working modes are integrated on one operation portion, thereby facilitating the reduction of the overall size of an operation panel, and reducing the space occupation amount of the operation panel on a machine body.
