Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric tool (1) that improves the reliability of machining work and that has a structure that excels with regards to safety. The electric tool (1) comprises: a main body (2) which includes an electric motor (7a), a feed screw (8a), a slide part (9), and a control unit (19); and a tool head (3) which is connected to the main body (2). The electric tool has a configuration in which the slide part (9) is moved backward to a position where a workpiece can be machined, the workpiece is machined, and then the slide part (9) is moved forward to a position where the machined workpiece can be removed. When a detection value of a current sensor (29) exceeds a first current value (U1) but does not exceed a second current value (U2) at the time a lower limit switch (25) is activated, the control unit (19) in the electric tool (1) determines that the machining of the workpiece is normal and executes the next processing, and when the current exceeds the second current value (U2) at the time the lower limit switch (25) is activated, determines that there is an abnormality and performs abnormality processing.
