Abstract:
This electric valve timing control device controls an electric valve timing device that changes a valve timing by changing, via a motor linked to a camshaft, the relative rotation phase of the camshaft with respect to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine. The electric valve timing control device comprises a control unit that changes the phase-changing method by which the camshaft is changed from the current phase to a target phase, on the basis of the relationship between the current phase of the camshaft and the target phase, when the relative rotation phase of the camshaft is changed by the electric valve timing device after a process for stopping the internal combustion engine.
