Abstract:
An electric vehicle charging control method. An electric vehicle (106, 300) is provided with a vehicle charging seat cover (108). The charging control method is applied to a charging device, the charging device comprising a charging pile (101, 210) and a charging pile plug (104, 220). The method comprises: first, establishing a communication connection between the charging pile (101, 210) and an electric vehicle (106, 300) within a preset range of the charging pile (101, 210); then, determining whether the charging pile plug (104, 220) is picked up by a user, and when it is determined that the charging pile plug (104, 220) is picked up by the user, sending to the electric vehicle (106, 300) an instruction to open the vehicle charging seat cover (108), so that the charging pile plug (104, 220) can be inserted into a charging seat of the electric vehicle (106, 300) to charge the electric vehicle (106, 300). Also disclosed is a charging device. The charging control method can achieve charging of an electric vehicle without a user having to manually operate a charging seat cover.
