An electric vehicle, a wheel, a switched reluctance motor (10) and a manufacturing method for the iron core thereof. The switched reluctance motor (10) comprises a stator (11) and a rotor (12); the stator (11) is provided, in an axial direction, with at least three stator components (111, 112, 113) in segments, each stator component comprising a plurality of stator teeth (131, 132, 133), which are arranged periodically in the circumferential direction of the stator (11) and are spaced apart from each other by means of stator slots, and comprising windings which are wound on the stator teeth (131, 132, 133), the stator teeth (131, 132, 133) of the at least three stator components (111, 112, 113) being arranged successively at a predetermined offset angle along the circumference of the stator (11), all the windings of each of the stator components (111, 112, 113) being of same phase; the rotor (12) comprises a plurality of rotor teeth (121) which are arranged periodically in the circumferential direction of the rotor and are spaced apart from each other by means of rotor slots (122); and the iron core of the switched reluctance motor (10) comprises an iron core shell and a plurality of iron core blocks (231, 181) fixed in the iron core shell. The described structure can prevent the generation of a lot of residual sheets, reducing costs.
