Abstract:
An electric vehicle comprising: a main body unit having a deck and a stay rotatably coupled to the deck; a loop-shaped handle supported by the stay and having a grip section for use during transportation; a lock member that restricts relative rotation of the deck and the stay; a lock release member that releases the restriction on relative rotation caused by the lock member, such that the electric vehicle can switch between a usage state and a folded state; a lock release operation unit arranged in the transportation grip section and outputting an operation signal indicating the intention to release the restriction on relative rotation; and a control unit that, when an operation signal has been output, outputs a drive signal that releases restriction on relative rotation, outputting same to the lock release member.
