Abstract:
Provided is an electric vehicle (1) comprising: a vehicle body front structure (3); a vehicle body rear structure (5) separated from the vehicle body front structure (3); a rotating mechanism (50) coupled so as to be capable of relative swinging the vehicle body front structure (3) and the vehicle body rear structure (5) about an axis (C1) facing in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; an electric motor (30) for driving the vehicle; and a battery (100) supplying electric power to the electric motor (30), wherein at least one of the vehicle body front structure (3) and the vehicle body rear structure (5) has a battery accommodation portion (76) that accommodates the battery (100) in a removable manner; the battery accommodation portion (76) has an opening (77) through which the battery (100) can be inserted and removed; and at least the other of the vehicle body front structure (3) and the vehicle body rear structure (5) has an insertion and removal regulating portion (9a) that is disposed opposite to the opening (77) of the battery accommodation portion (76) and is capable of regulating the insertion and removal of the battery (100).
