Abstract:
Provided is an electric vehicle that suitably adjusts the number of revolutions of a motor when a clutch is in a half-engaged state or a non-engaged state. An electric motorcycle (1) comprises: a transmission (115) that transmits the number of revolutions of a motor (11), at a predetermined reduction ratio, to a drive wheel (2); a clutch (113) that disconnects the transmission of power between the motor (11) and the transmission (115); a clutch operator (72) that operates the clutch (113); an accelerator operator 71 that is operated by an occupant; and a drive control unit (91) that controls an output of the motor (11) on the basis of the operation of the accelerator operator 71. The drive control unit (91) acquires travel resistance of a travel road, and executes an output restriction process for restricting the output of the motor (11), on the basis of the travel resistance, when the clutch (113) is in a half-engaged state or a non-engaged state.
