Abstract:
An electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (100) is provided with: a rotary wing (30); a shaft (19, 191, 192) connected to the central axis of the rotary wing; a motor (11) that has a rotor (112) connected to the shaft, and rotationally drives the rotary wing; a power supply unit (90) that supplies power to the motor; a motor control unit (15) that controls an operation of the motor; a monitoring unit (132) that monitors at least one subject to be monitored among the motor, the power supply unit and the motor control unit, and detects whether there is an abnormality in the subject to be monitored; and a braking force reduction unit (301, 302, 303) that, when an abnormality of the subject to be monitored is detected, reduces braking force acting on the rotor due to electromotive force caused by rotation of the rotor.
