Abstract:
Provided is a wave divider which applies a spin torque effect and which is compact and can easily control a received frequency. An electric wave divider comprises one bit line (8), with which a DC current source (4) and an antenna (7) are connected in parallel, a plurality of source lines connected with magnetoresistive effect elements (9) connected with the bit line, amplifiers (10) connected with the individual source lines, a mixer (11) for mixing the outputs from the individual amplifiers, digit lines (3) for applying magnetic fields to the free layers of the magnetoresistive effect elements, a current driver (1) disposed for applying a predetermined electric current to the individual digit lines, and a memory (2) for storing in advance how much the electric currents are to be applied to the individual digit lines. The resonance frequencies of the individual magnetoresistive effect elements are adjusted by the magnetic fields, which are applied from the digit lines to the free layers of the magnetoresistive effect elements.
