Abstract:
The purpose is to provide a technique with which the stripping of an electric wire can be performed satisfactorily. This electric wire processing device comprises: a first blade part and a second blade part that oppose each other; and a first movement mechanism that brings the first blade part and the second blade part close to one another or separates the same. The first blade part includes a first recessed blade-tip part that opposes the second blade part. The second blade part includes a second recessed blade-tip part that opposes the first blade part. The first recessed blade-tip part includes: a U-shaped deepest part that is recessed in a first direction separating from the second blade part; and a pair of sloped parts each sloping from the respective end parts to the deepest part in the first direction with reference to a virtual line that virtually connects both the end parts. The second recessed blade-tip part includes: a U-shaped deepest part that is recessed in a second direction separating from the first blade part; and a pair of sloped parts each sloping from the respective end parts to the deepest part in the second direction with reference to a virtual line that virtually connects both the end parts. An electric wire is sandwiched by the first blade part and the second blade part which are brought close to one another by the first movement mechanism, and thereby a cut can be made in a cover part arranged around a conductor part of the electric wire.
