Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to satisfactorily twist together electric wires without applying a great amount of force even when twisting together relatively long electric wires, and to enable recovery of the twisted-together electric wires through causing the same to fall downward. An electric wire twisting device 1 is provided with: a first clamp 11 and a second clamp 12 that respectively grip one-end parts and other-end parts of a first electric wire 51 and a second electric wire 52; a motor 13 that rotates the first clamp 11 about a rotational center axis CL; and an electric wire support member 31 that is configured to be capable of moving between an electric wire support position that is a position between the first clamp 11 and the second clamp 12 and below the rotational center axis CL and a removed position that is a position set apart from an area below the rotational center axis CL, and that supports the first electric wire 51 and the second electric wire 52 when in the electric wire support position.
