The present application relates to an electrical connection component and a battery module. The electrical connection component is for use in the battery module and comprises at least one electrically-conductive plate. The electrically-conductive plate comprises connection areas distributed at an interval in a first direction and shock absorbing areas connected between every two adjacent connections areas. The shock absorbing areas comprise multiple protruding parts provided consecutively in the first direction and formed by bending the electrically-conductive plate. The direction of protrusion of the protruding parts is opposite to the direction of protrusion of two protruding parts angled and adjacent to each other in the first direction. Of the electrical connection component and the battery module provided in the embodiments of the present application, the electrical connection component is capable of effectively absorbing the force of impact of a vibration, adaptable to an expensive distension of a single battery, and not prone to fracturing, thus allowing the battery module to steadily input or output electrical energy.
