Abstract:
Disclosed is an electrical connector for rapid cable locking, comprising a base, a torsion spring, an elastic member, a slider, a handle, a contact terminal, and a cable pressing frame. A wiring hole, an elastic-member support shaft, and a terminal mounting hole are provided on the base. A slide bevel, a guide slot, and a positioning step are provided on the slider. A handle top end and an elastic-member abutting boss are provided on the handle. A slider support arm is provided on the slider. The elastic member comprises an elastic end and a cable pressing wall. The handle is hinge-connected to the base. The elastic member is connected to the elastic-member support shaft. The torsion spring is used to drive ejection of the elastic member. The guide slot is connected to the slider support arm. The slider is also connected to an elastic device used to drive the slider to slide towards the elastic member. The contact terminal passes through the terminal mounting hole. During cable locking, the elastic end is connected to the positioning step, and the cable pressing wall presses a cable against the contact terminal. During unlocking, the handle top end is connected to the slide bevel. In the invention, after cable locking is completed, the reliability of cable pressing completed by the invention will not be affected so long as the handle top end does not press the slider enough to cause the elastic end to slide out of the positioning step.
