Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] An electrical connector requiring a small insertion force and less likely to wear. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A lock member of a connector, having first and second arms, is inserted into a connector housing having a third arm temporarily fitted to a squib. This causes the first arm to be inserted into and engaged with the squib side, and simultaneously causes the second arm to be placed between the connector housing and the third arm. As a result, the connection between the connector housing and the squib is locked with elastic deformation of the third arm restricted. In addition, each arm of the connector is formed using a material containing glass fibers to protect the engagement sections from an external force such as a tensile force.
