Abstract:
An electrical connector, comprising an insulation base (30), a metal housing (60), a row of first terminals (40), and a row of second terminals (50). The insulation base (30) is provided with a substrate (303) and a connection plate (310). The connection plate protrudes out of the front end of the substrate, a joining surface (336) is provided on the upper part of the connection plate, and the joining surface is lower than the upper part of the substrate. The metal housing (60) covers the insulation base. The lower part of the connection plate abuts against the metal housing. A joint slot (77) is formed in the metal housing, and the joining surface of the connection plate faces the joint slot. Each first terminal is provided with a pin (41), a fixed portion (42) and an extending portion (43). Each second terminal is provided with a pin (51), a fixed portion (52) and an extending portion (53). The extending portion is connected to the front end of the fixed portion and can bounce up and down in a bouncing slot in the connection plate and is provided with a contact portion (54) protruding out of the joining surface of the connection plate. The extending portions of the row of second terminals bend and extend downwards and are lower than the fixed portions. The row of second terminal slots are provided with horizontal through-slots giving way to the extending portions of the second terminals from the rear end of the substrate to the bouncing slots, so as to strength the base structure.
