Abstract:
An electrical discharge detection system according to the present invention includes a parent machine 40 and a child machine 60. The parent machine 40 and the child machine 60 each comprise a noise detection unit 41, 61 that detects noise superimposed on a voltage or a current, and a determination unit 42, 62 that determines whether an electrical discharge has occurred, on the basis of the output of the noise detection unit 41, 61. The parent machine 40 is electrically connected to a secondary side of a main breaker 81 constituting a distribution board 8, and to primary sides of a plurality of branch breakers 82 constituting the same. The child machine 40 is electrically connected to an electrical outlet 91 that is provided in a building. The parent machine 40 outputs a first signal upon determining that an electrical discharge has occurred, and the first signal is inputted to at least one of the main breaker 81 and a branch breaker 82. The child machine 60 outputs a second signal upon determining that an electrical discharge has occurred, and the second signal is inputted to at least one of the parent machine 40, the main breaker 81, and a branch breaker 82.
