Abstract:
To provide an electrical muscle stimulation device that can provide a user with prescribed benefits that correspond to involuntary physiological (responsive) changes caused by electrical stimulation. The device comprises: an attachment means for attachment to a prescribed part of the user's body; a pulsed current application means for applying a low frequency pulsed current to the prescribed part of the user's body; a detection means for detecting changes in the prescribed body part caused by the application of low frequency pulsed current; a usage state information generation means for generating usage state information that includes data on changes obtained by the detection means and data on the conditions under which the low frequency pulsed current was applied; and an output means for notifying the user and/or controlling the pulsed current application means on the basis of the usage state information.
