Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical refrigerant compressor (1) with suction gas cooling, wherein a manifold unit (6) is arranged in the suction gas flow direction upstream of the motor windings (3) of a stator (11), characterized in that the manifold unit (6) has cooling ducts (7) which are arranged such that the refrigerant gas is passed from the cooling ducts (7) directly onto the motor windings (3) for cooling.
