Abstract:
This specification discloses an electrically powered tool. This electrically powered tool is provided with a motor, a power transmitting mechanism which is connected to the motor, a housing which accommodates the motor and the power transmitting mechanism, a front end tool holding section which is connected to the power transmitting section, a cover which covers at least a part of the front end tool holding section, and a gripping member which is provided to the housing and which grips the cover from both sides of the direction extending along the rotation axis of the front end tool holding section. One of the cover and the gripping member is provided with a recess which is recessed in the direction extending along the rotation axis of the front end tool holding section. The other of the cover and the gripping member is provided with a protrusion which protrudes in the direction extending along the rotation axis of the front end tool holding section. In a state in which the cover is gripped by the gripping member, the protrusion is engaged with the recess to prevent the cover from rotating about the rotation axis of the front end tool holding section relative to the housing.
