Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electricity-application type jig device and a method for molding vehicle sheet materials, the device being enabled to compensate for thermal expansion, caused by heating, of a sheet material, and comprising: a first clamp capable of supporting one portion of the vehicle sheet material; a second clamp capable of supporting the other portion of the vehicle sheet material; a first electricity-supplying part for generating a potential difference between the first clamp and the second clamp such that an electric current can flow to the vehicle sheet material; a moving device for moving the first clamp or the second clamp according to the thermal expansion of the vehicle sheet material; and a control part for applying a movement control signal to the moving device according to the expansion degree of the vehicle sheet material.
