Abstract:
The present invention comprises a plurality of electricity storage units and a control unit. Each electricity storage unit comprises: a storage battery; an input terminal, an output terminal, and a switch which opens or closes the circuit between the input terminal and the output terminal. The switch and the charge/discharge of the storage battery are controlled in accordance with instructions from the control unit. The plurality of electricity storage units are connected in series by connecting the input terminal of each electricity storage unit with an output terminal of one of the plurality of electricity storage units which is not the electricity storage unit in question. The input terminal which is not connected to any of the output terminals is connected to the autonomous output terminal of the power generation device which performs autonomous operation in the event of a power failure and outputs the power thus generated, the output terminal which is not connected to any of the input terminals is connected to a specific load to which power should be supplied in the event of a power failure, and the control unit generates instructions for each of the electricity storage units in the event of a power failure.
