Abstract:
A management unit (50m) of an electricity storage system (1) calculates, on the basis of the SOP (State of Power) of each one of a plurality of electricity storage blocks (10-30) connected in parallel, the total SOP of the plurality of electricity storage blocks (10-30). When at least one (10) of the plurality of electricity storage blocks (10-30) is paralleled off and then the at least one electricity storage block (10) returns to the parallel connection after at least one switch (40a) is turned on, the management unit (50m) calculates the total SOP of the electricity storage blocks (10-30) after the return of the electricity storage block (10) on the basis of the variation in current flowing through each one of the electricity storage blocks (10-30) after the return and sets the upper limit value of power or current to be flowed through a power conversion unit (60).
