Abstract:
The present invention contributes to emission of sound waves in a wide frequency band and suppression of a decrease in the directionality of the emitted sound waves. The electroacoustic transducer according to the present invention has layered piezoelectric vibrator units arranged side by side in a direction intersecting with a vibrating direction, each layered piezoelectric vibrator unit being equipped with a plurality of piezoelectric vibrators which have different resonance frequencies and are arranged in layers along the vibrating direction with a predetermined space therebetween, vibration members for restraining the piezoelectric vibrators, and frames for supporting edges of the vibration members. The vibration members are arranged in layers along the vibrating direction with a predetermined space therebetween and in such a manner that the areas of the vibration members increase or decrease sequentially.
