Abstract:
This electrochemical cell includes a solid electrolyte layer and a first electrode. The solid electrolyte layer includes a first material in which a rare earth element is dissolved and which has ion conductivity. The first electrode includes a rare earth element and has a first surface in contact with the solid electrolyte layer and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A second surface side of the first electrode has a higher rare earth element content than a first surface side.
