Abstract:
The present application relates to an electrochemical device and an electronic device. Specifically, the present application provides an electrochemical device comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte. The negative electrode comprises a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode active material layer disposed on the negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode active material layer comprises a negative electrode active material. The negative electrode active material comprises fragment particles, and the particle fragmentation rate of the negative electrode active material is from 20% to 80%. The electrochemical device of the present application improves cycle performance and safety performance.
