Abstract:
An electrode assembly and a battery. A protection layer that has been intended to be arranged on a second electrode sheet is arranged on the surface of a separator away from a first electrode sheet, and the separator and the first electrode sheet are composited together, such that dual protection by protection layers on a tab can be achieved, the problem of large position tolerance of protection layers arranged on electrode sheets having different polarities is solved, the influence of preparation precision on the position of the protection layers is avoided, and the preparation yield and utilization of a battery are improved. In addition, the protection layers do not need to have a large size, such that the influence of the protection layers on the energy density of the battery is effectively avoided.
